Ease your mind and your body!

When you bring your new baby home it can be both the most beautiful and stress filled times in your life. The anxiety of what you don’t know combined with the lack of sleep can be completely overwhelming for most new parents.

My goal as a postpartum doula is to provide unconditional support, access to options, hands on education, quality resources, and a restful experience for all the families I work with. What this means for you is the time and space to bond with your precious new baby while some of the other details in life are moved along for you.

To me, the most wonderful compliment is a grateful, happy and well rested family! Here’s what some of those parents wanted to share:

  • "I had no idea what kind of help I would need when I had my first child, and no real budget for help. I called Jess to talk when it got very difficult to cope with my son’s witching hour and my baby blues. Jess was so understanding and let me vent all my frustrations and worries."

    – H.M. New Milford, CT

  • "Jess was incredibly sensitive to our household needs, my need for rest, and my husband’s desire to be the support system in our new little family. She took great care to both nurture my mothering instincts, as well as offer space and encouragement for me to learn about my baby in my own way, in my own time."

    – K. S. Fairfield, CT

  • "Jess was an incredible resource from day one of being parents. My husband and I say all the time that having Jess with us during our son’s first 10 weeks was a conplete game changer and made the transition to being parents so much less stressful and actually enjoyable!"

    – L.D. New Canaan, CT

  • "Jess is truly incredible. As a doula, not only did she have a contagiously calming presence (for the baby, but also for mom), but her knowledge and experience immediately put us ease. Placing your newborn into the arms of complete stranger, especially when it’s your first, is never easy, but with Jess I felt relieved."
